Nation’s leaders pay tribute to Uncle Ho

A delegation of the leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly and Vietnam Fatherland Front on May 18 laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum on the occasion of his 121st birthday.

A delegation of the leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly and Vietnam Fatherland Front on May 18 laid a wreath in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on the occasion of his 121st birthday.

Prominent at the ceremony were Party General Secretary, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong; State President Nguyen Minh Triet; Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Huynh Dam and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Truong Tan Sang.

Former Party General Secretaries Le Kha Phieu, Nong Duc Manh; former State President Tran Duc Luong; former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An; former President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Pham The Duyet and other senior leaders and revolutionary veterans also joined the delegation.

Also on May 18, a delegation of officials from Central Military Party Committee, the Ministry of Defence, the Central Police Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Committee and People’s Council of Hanoi, other ministries, agencies and localities visited Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and laid a wreath in tribute to the nation’s beloved leader./.
