Vietnam ’s largest instant coffee factory, Nestle Tri An, was officially opened in southern Dong Nai province’s Bien Hoa city on July 9.

The factory, in the city’s Amata Industrial Park , is worth 270 million USD and will produce 32,500 tonnes of instant coffee per year. It will create job for over 200 employees and provide high quality Nescafe products for domestic market and export.

In addition, the company has joined with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to implement p rogrammes improving the local coffee productivity by offering technical assistance to farmers, distributing high quality coffee seeds and drafting direct purchasing agreements.

The company has 500 factories in 86 countries around the world, now including five in Vietnam with two in Amata IP.

As well as the coffee manufacturing plant, Nestle has also invested 56 million USD in a packing factory in the park.-VNA
