The budget carrier VietJetAir has announced to launch a new route between Vinh, northern Nghe An province and Da Lat, Central Highlands Lam Dong province, in celebration of the tourist city’s flower festival next month.

The first flight will depart from Vinh at 8:05 am and arrive in Da Lat after one hour and half of flying time and leave Da Lat at 10:10 am on December 24, it said on November 28, adding that tickets have been sold nationwide.

The airline will conduct three flights per week with a total capacity of 1,080 seats.

Apart from the Hanoi-Da Lat route, the new route will connect the country’s two famous tourist and historical sites, contributing to boosting the trade and tourism in the two cities, as well as meeting people’s demand for travel.

VietJetAir now provides more than 500 flights per week, on 16 domestic and international air routes.-VNA
