New decree promulgates regulation of border gates

The Government issued a decree on the management of border gates, detailing regulations on State supervision and control at the gates, as well as the entrance and exit of people and goods through the gates.
The Government issued a decree on the management of border gates,detailing regulations on State supervision and control at the gates, aswell as the entrance and exit of people and goods through the gates.

The legal document puts the flow of goods and people,including the exit, entry, transit, export, and import, under strictcontrol by agencies of the State.

The decreepromulgates the rules applicable to border gate zones; entry, exit andresidence in these zones; as well as restrictions and temporarycessation of entry and exit via land border gates and land routes.

It also stipulates that all individuals and goods must be accompaniedby complete and valid legal papers to pass through border gates,complying with the principles and procedures prescribed by import,export, entry and exit legislation as well as relevant national andinternational treaties to which Vietnam is a signatory member.-VNA

Two wanted for abusing religious cover to undermine national unity policy

The fugitives are Di (also known as Siu Di), born in 1941, and Dinh Yum (also known as Dinh Jum or Ba Koih), born in 1963, from Ba Na ethnic minority group in Gia Lai province, and hold Vietnamese nationality. They have been charged under Clause 1, Article 116 of the Penal Code for undermining the national unity policy.

Support delivered to Khmer households for traditional New Year
