Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training held a seminar on New Zealand’s experiences in preschool education in Hanoi on October 12.

Richard Wallay, senior director specialising in preschool policy from New Zealand’s Ministry of Education, said his country’s preschool education curriculum aimed at the comprehensive development of children, helping them to become healthy in body and soul, feel confident in themselves, and respect knowledge.

Experts from New Zealand said parents played an important role in bringing up children and their conversations would help children develop more confidence. However, teachers and parents should work closely together to find a suitable way to educate the children./.
