Some 33,454 businesses were dissolved or suspended operations in the first half, up 16.5 percent. The number of enterprises resuming operation reached 8,322.
Regarding business structure, in the first half, those involved agriculture, forestry and aquaculture saw a rise of 27.5 percent, real estate 38.7 percent, logistics 62.6 percent and finance, banking and insurance 14.9 percent.
Most of the new businesses are located in Ho Chi Minh City (up 14.8 percent), Hanoi (up 16.2 percent), Thai Binh province (up 32,3 percent), Cao Bang province (up 133.3 percent) and Thanh Hoa province (up 16.6 percent).-VNA
