A total of 52 cannon balls left over from the time of the Nguyen Dynasty were found at the construction site of the An Cuu River’s embankments in the former imperial city of Hue.

The Hue Royal Artefacts Museum said that they were made by Nguyen Dynasty rulers and their exact age has not yet been defined.

The museum has plans for an exhibition of Nguyen Dynasty cannons and bullets.
The Nguyen kings ruled from 1802 until the feudal system was overthrown in Vietnam in 1945./.
