A flyover at the intersection of Hoang Quoc Viet and Nguyen Van Huyen in Hanoi’s Cau Giay district was opened to traffic on August 28 to mark the 75th National Day on September 2 and the capital’s 17th Party Congress.

The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission decided to give a reprimand to Nguyen Van Huyen, former Secretary of the Party Committee and former Director of the Department for Roads of Vietnam, during its 52nd meeting held in Hanoi from December 9-11.

Right after the traffic-opening ceremony, vehicles in both directions passed the bridge; and even it was rush hour, the vehicles moving under the bridge no longer suffered from the congestion as before.
