Nearly 7,000 tonnes of rice from the national reserves will be distributed to impoverished households in nine provinces across the country in this year’s between-crop period.
Under the Prime Minister’s decision No. 292/QĐ-TTg, the central provinces of Quang Ngai, Quang Binh and Quang Tri will receive 1,371 tonnes, 1,219 tonnes and 668 tonnes, respectively.
The northern provinces of Ha Nam and Ninh Binh will receive more than 1,280 tonnes and 265 tonnes, respectively, while the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau will get 847 tonnes.
