The forum aims to enable provincial officials to better understand local children’s wishes, helping them make more practical policies on children’s rights and raising public awareness of the issue.
Many children called for more investment in education, building more schools and creating a healthy and safe learning environment.
They also wanted the authorities to take effective measures to prevent and deal with negative phenomena as well as create favourable conditions for children to join in social activities.
Officials from relevant agencies promised to pay attention to the children’s proposals in the process of devising programmes and projects on education.-VNA
