Hanoi (VNA) - There is currently no information regarding any Vietnamese nationals involved in a July 12 landslide that swept two buses into a river in Nepal.
Sources from the consular division of the Vietnamese Embassy in India, Vietnamese groups in Nepal and local media outlets have reported no information about any Vietnamese casualties among the 11 confirmed fatalities and 54 missing persons from this landslide.
On July 15, a senior Nepalese police officer stated that there is "no hope" of finding any more survivors of this tragedy.
About 100 Vietnamese people are currently living in Nepal./.
