Bangkok (VNA) – Thailand has found no signs of Islamic State (IS) militants or evidence of its involvement in recent attacks in the country’s southern region, said Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on May 31.

He made the statement during an interview in regard to IS hiding in southern Thailand and launching attacks in Malaysia.

The official warned people to stay vigilant and support competent agencies to ensure security.
