Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed a decision announcing the Government’s plan for conducting a nationwide opinion poll on the draft of the revised Civil Code.
Decision 01/QD-TTg underscores that the opinion poll must closely follow the content of Resolution No 857 issued by the National Assembly’s Standing Committee, and must be a priority task in the first quarter of 2015.
The draft document will be published on Nhan Dan newspaper and the websites of the NA, the Ministry of Justice and the Government.
Ministries, ministerial agencies and Government-run agencies are requested to collect feedback and recommendations in various forms, including by holding workshops and conferences.
The public can contribute their recommendations in person, or send their opinions in written form or by emails to relevant agencies.
The poll, presided over by the Ministry of Justice, will run from January 5 to April 5.
The Ministry of Justice is to sum up the opinions and submit a report to the Government before April 25.-VNA
