Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga presented the certificate to the outgoing diplomat in Hanoi on July 8.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Stokes said it is a great honour to him to receive this reward, which reflects the sentiments of the Vietnamese Government and people towards the UK people.
He affirmed that he will continue making contributions to consolidating and developing the strategic partnership between the two nations.-VNA
