Hanoi (VNA) – An award ceremony was held in Hanoi on December 27 to honour 49 outstanding employers in 2015.

The event, the second of its kind, was co-organised by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL), the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

The 49 winners, selected from more than 1,000 employers competing for the award this year, were recognised for their excellent policies for employees and consistent goals for green and sustainable development.

They include VinGroup, National Oil Services Company of Vietnam, Southern Vietnam Maritime Safety Corporation, Hue Textile Garment Joint Stock Company and Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the ceremony, VGCL President Dang Ngoc Tung said these winners have worked hard to improve work environment and balance benefits of employer, employees and the society towards sustainable development.

Good practices in employee policies and personnel training were shared for business from across the country on the sidelines of the award.-VNA
