HCM City (VNA) – The fifth Ho Chi Minh City International TraditionalMartial Arts Festival closed on July 25, with 220 medals granted, including 55gold, 55 silver and 110 bronze medals.
This year’s festival, which kicked off onJuly 23, attracted the participation of more than 1,800 martial artists from 98teams, including 13 foreign ones, in many categories, including mass, duel andindividual fights with bare hands or weapons.
Coinciding with the event was the 14th HCMCity Traditional Martial Arts Festival, which drew 85 teams competing in 30categories. A total of 680 medals, including 170 gold, 170 silver and 340bronze were doled out.
