Over 61,000 new enterprises established in six months

Hanoi (VNA)– In the first two quarters of this year, 61,276 enterprises were formed, withtotal registered capital of over 596 trillion VND(more than 26.2 billion USD), according to the Ministry of Planning andInvestment’s National Enterprise Information and Registration System.

The figures showed a rise of 12.4 percent in the number of enterprises and 39.4percent in registered capital compared to the same period last year.

In June alone, 10,742 firms were set up, with total registered capital of 110.5trillion VND (4.86 billion USD), a year-on-year increase of 10.05 percent in thenumber of enterprises and 41.2 percent in registered capital.

On average, the registered capital of a business increased by 24.3 percent to9.7 billion VND.

The country also saw 15,379 businesses resume their operation during theperiod.-VNA

Taxes on real estate based on time property is held not feasible: Justice Ministry
