Compared with deserted scenes and quietness at the capital’s bus stations on the first day that the Ministry of Transport’s temporary regulations on the pilot organization of road passenger transport activities takes effect, the Hanoi Railway Station seems to get busy and bustling again.

From October 12 afternoon, many passengers directly come to the station’s booths to buy the first tickets of North-South train SE5, departing at 3:20 pm on October 13.

In addition to direct ticket purchases, many customers also buy tickets online. This is supposed to be more convenient and safer than buying tickets directly.

354 tickets of the SE5 train have been sold, with about 100 passengers traveling from Hanoi./.
