Overseas Vietnamese celebrate Tet traditional way

Besides the traditional New Year food brought from Vietnam or made by the embassy staff, the Vietnamese community in Malaysia was treated to a special concert with the performance of some singers who are popular back home.

The Vietnamese General Consulate in Perth, Australia, though just opening in October last year, also hosted a celebration for fellow countrymen.

In New Zealand, representatives from the New Zealand-Vietnam Friendship Association came to join the celebration at the Vietnamese embassy and promised to work for stronger cooperation between the two countries.

In the Republic of Korea, Ambassador Tran Trong Toan and embassy staff visited two multi-cultural families in Ansan city, Gyeonggi province. -VNA
