According to Tran Van Mau, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the sum, comprising 900 million VND, 2,000 EUR and 1,500 USD, was raised by overseas Vietnamese through his organisation to help northern mountainous provinces.
After Bac Can, Son La and Cao Bang provinces will also receive money to build kindergartens./.
