Overseas Vietnamese in Switzerland honoured
The Vietnamese Embassy in Switzerland held a ceremony on Dec.18 to
honour 11 overseas Vietnamese, who have been praised by the Government
for their active contribution to the country’s development.

Addressing the event, Ambassador Hoang Van Nha spoke highly of the achievements overseas Vietnamese have gained over the past year, especially the establishment of the Vietnamese Association in Switzerland (VAS) in April.
VAS Chairman Nguyen Khanh Kinh highlighted overseas Vietnamese’s desire to preserve and promote the national cultural identity as well as contribute to the country’s development.
Some 7,000 Vietnamese are living in Switzerland , added Vinh./.
