Overseas Vietnamese integral to nation, diplomat says

Vietnamese Ambassador to Morocco Cao Xuan Than delivered the remark at a meeting with more than 100 Vietnamese expatriates in the African country on April 14.

The policies are designed to meet their legitimate interests and aspirations, said the Ambassador.

At the meeting, Than extended State President Nguyen Minh Triet’s greetings and congratulations to them and briefed them on the situation in their home country.

The Ambassador said he hopes Vietnamese expatriates in Morocco dutifully abide the country’s laws, provide each other with mutual aid, and contribute to strengthening the friendly ties between the two countries.

Tran Thi Hong May, on behalf of the Vietnamese community in Morocco , said that they always look towards their home country and are willing to help victims of natural disasters there./.
