Firms from Panama have shown interest in possible opportunities in doing business in Vietnam in various fields such as education, health, agriculture, tourism and industry.

At a late September meeting in Panama province hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in Panama, about 30 Panamanian entrepreneurs enquired about the investment climate and attraction policy in Vietnam, especially in economics and tourism.

Many said they intend to visit Vietnam in the near future to explore cooperation opportunities, with special regard to agriculture and rural development.

Ambassador Nguyen An Duy reviewed the relation development between the two nations since 2013, saying there remains large potential for ratcheting up bilateral ties in the time to come.

Documentaries featuring the Vietnamese land, people, culture, and economics were also screened at the function.-VNA
