Party chief congratulates RoK on becoming largest investor in Vietnam

The RoK is also a leading trade partner and provider of official development assistance of Vietnam.

He hailed the recent conclusion of negotiations on the Vietnam-RoKfree trade agreement in December 2014, assisting the targeted tradevalue of 70 billion USD by 2020.

The Party chiefcommitted all possible resources to facilitating Korean businessoperations in Vietnam and underscored the value of cooperation betweenthe two legislative bodies in lawmaking and supervising law enforcement.

Speaker Chung Ui-hwa stated that the NA,government and people of the RoK have strong confidence in Vietnam’sgrowth prospects.

He expressed his desire to deepenbilateral coordination across fields, and vowed continued efforts todevelop the friendship and enhance the engagement between the twolegislatures and peoples.-VNA

Vietnam, RoK enhance coordination, experience-sharing in APEC Year organisation

Vietnamese Prime Minister meets with top Lao leader in Vientiane

The two leaders affirmed that both countries consistently attach the highest priority to preserving and promoting the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic cohesion between Vietnam and Laos, describing the relationship as a special bond between the two Parties, States and people and a foundation for jointly creating and sharing development opportunities.

NA Vice President holds bilateral meetings on sidelines of IPU-153

Dien thanked her and the Parliament of Tanzania for hosting IPU-153 and acknowledging her contributions during her tenure as IPU President. He asked Ackson, as former President of the Tanzanian Parliament, to help promote economic, trade and investment ties between Vietnam and Tanzania, matching the two countries’ strong political relations.
