During his visit to Prof. Khieu on his 95 th birthday on Sept. 16, the Party leader wished him good health, expressing the hope that the professor would make further contributions to cultural development - the social spiritual foundation.
He said he hoped Prof. Khieu would soon complete his research on Thang Long literature which is significant to preserving and developing the nation’s culture.
Prof. Khieu thanked the Party and State leaders for their fine sentiments to him and said he believed that under the Party leadership, the nation will continue developing comprehensively and successfully implement the goal of a strong nation with wealthy people and a civilised, democratic and just society./.
