The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) always attaches importance tostrengthening friendship and cooperation with the Communist Party ofBohemia and Moravia (KSCM).
Party GeneralSecretary and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong made thisstatement while receiving a delegation from KSCM led by its ChairmanVojtech Filip, who is also Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of theCzech Chamber of Deputies, in Hanoi on April 20.
He said he hoped that relations between the two Parties andlegislatives bodies will actively contribute to bolstering the tiesbetween the two countries’ States and people.
TheVietnamese Party leader expressed his gratitude for the valuable supportthat KSCM and people of the former Czechoslovakia , including theCzech Republic , have gien Vietnam during its national liberationand reunification in the past as well as during the present cause ofnational construction and development.
For hispart, Vojtech Filip extended his congratulations on the success of the11th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and NA ChairmanTrong’s election as Party General Secretary.
The Vietnamese Party’s success is a great encouragement to KSCM staff and members in the current situation, he said.
He took the occasion to brief his host about his country and Party’ssituation, saying he will make every effort to step up the friendshipand fine traditional cooperation between the two nations.
Earlier, the KSCM delegation held talks with a CPV delegation headedby Hoang Binh Quan, CPV Central Committee member and Director of the CPVCentral Committee's Commission for External Relations.
The delegation also worked with a number of NA Committees and Ministry of Industry and Trade./.
