Party delegation attends Angola’s party congress
A delegation of the Communist Party of
Vietnam (CPV) attended the sixth congress of the Popular Movement for
the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) party in Luanda, Angola from Dec. 7-10.

the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) party in Luanda, Angola from Dec. 7-10.
Vo Duc Huy, member of the CPV Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee in charge of Central Enterprises, delivered the welcoming speech at the congress.
The Vietnamese delegation met with MPLA leaders, during which the latter spoke highly of Vietnam’s support and effective cooperation with Angola.
MPLA leaders also said they hoped for a stronger multifaceted cooperation between the two Parties, governments and peoples.
The Vietnamese delegation met other international representatives attending the event and visited several education and social establishments in Luanda.
Jose Eduardo Dos Santos was re-elected MPLA President./.
