The Party’s inspection, supervision, and discipline work in terms of theory, practicality and experiences will be disseminated more intensively on the mass media.

This was stated by Nguyen Van Chi, Politburo member and Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC), at a meeting for northern collaborators of the Party Inspection Magazine in Hanoi on July 27.

The information dissemination will be done foremost on the Party’s newspapers and magazine, plus radio and television channels at both local and central levels, said Chi, who is Director of the CPVCC’s Inspection Commission.

He noted that party committees and Inspection Commission’s chapters at all levels should focus on issuing instructions about the dissemination of information on the Party’s inspection and supervision, especially on cases that already had an answer.

Chi emphasized that information dissemination will help build the Party purely and strongly in terms of political ideology and organisational structure as well as improve the quality and efficiency of the Party’s inspection and supervision.

As the mouthpiece of the Inspection Commission and the voice of the Party’s inspection sector, the Inspection Magazine needs to take the initiative in promptly explaining the Party’s inspection and supervision work to the public in future, the official said.

Since its 27 th meeting, the Party’s Inspection Commission has revealed the outcomes of its meeting to press agencies, and provided information to the mass media on its inspection and supervision work and the results of cases relating to the discipline of Party members who committed wrongdoings.

This work has been highly valued by the public and also party members as it reflects democracy in the Party and contributes to preventing Party members’ wrongdoings. It also helped create consensus among the people, reasserted the Party’s seriousness in disciplining its members when they committed wrongdoings, and raised the party cells and organisations’ leadership and combat capacity./.
