This was stated by Nguyen Van Chi,Politburo member and Secretary of the Communist Party of VietnamCentral Committee (CPVCC), at a meeting for northern collaborators ofthe Party Inspection Magazine in Hanoi on July 27.
Theinformation dissemination will be done foremost on the Party’snewspapers and magazine, plus radio and television channels at bothlocal and central levels, said Chi, who is Director of the CPVCC’sInspection Commission.
He noted that party committees andInspection Commission’s chapters at all levels should focus on issuinginstructions about the dissemination of information on the Party’sinspection and supervision, especially on cases that already had ananswer.
Chi emphasized that information dissemination will helpbuild the Party purely and strongly in terms of political ideology andorganisational structure as well as improve the quality and efficiencyof the Party’s inspection and supervision.
As the mouthpiece ofthe Inspection Commission and the voice of the Party’s inspectionsector, the Inspection Magazine needs to take the initiative in promptlyexplaining the Party’s inspection and supervision work to the public infuture, the official said.
Since its 27 th meeting, the Party’sInspection Commission has revealed the outcomes of its meeting to pressagencies, and provided information to the mass media on its inspectionand supervision work and the results of cases relating to the disciplineof Party members who committed wrongdoings.
This work has beenhighly valued by the public and also party members as it reflectsdemocracy in the Party and contributes to preventing Party members’wrongdoings. It also helped create consensus among the people,reasserted the Party’s seriousness in disciplining its members when theycommitted wrongdoings, and raised the party cells and organisations’leadership and combat capacity./.
