Politburo member To Huy Rua on July 27 visited war invalids who are being cared for at the Kim Bang Sanatorium in the northern province of Ha Nam on the occasion of the National Day for War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers.
Talking with the war invalids, the Party official, who is also Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organisation, stressed that the Party and State will never forget the contributions made by fallen soldiers, war invalids and sick soldiers to the nation.
He presented 110 gifts to the soldiers under treatment at the sanatorium, which was established in 1976. At present, the facility is caring for 86 war invalids.-VNA
