The Philippines and Thailand will sign a series of agreements during Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul’s ongoing visit to the Philippines.
 
According to the Filipino Foreign Ministry, the agreements, to be inked by Tovichakchaikul and Filipino Secretary of Foreign Affairs Albert del Rosario will fortify friendship and cooperation between the two Southeast Asian nations.

They include a Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income, a Joint Statement for the Establishment of an Energy Forum and a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Thailand and the Philippines.
