The exhibition, which aims to celebrate the 60th anniversary of China ’s National Day, features the neighbour country’s landscapes, people and culture as well as the activities around the Beijing 2008 Olympics, and educational cooperation between Hai Phong University and Chinese universities.
Hai Phong University has opened a faculty to teach the Vietnamese language to foreign students, many of them Chinese.
The exhibition will last through October 1.
Earlier, the Inner Mongolia art troupe staged many cultural performances in the city during its visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Arts Performance Department under the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On this occasion, a meeting was held between the Chinese Businesses Association and Hai Phong city with the aim of strengthening the two countries’ solidarity and friendship./.
