Hanoi (VNA) – Fifty paintings drawn by disadvantaged children were put on display at anexhibition called “Gratitude” held at the United Nations Office in Vietnam on December3, on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December3).
Theevent is a continuation of the contest “For a Triumphant Vietnam” which washeld by Mr. Sun programme, Hope Foundation and UNICEF in Vietnam.
Throughthe stories, messages, pictures and thoughts ingrained in each work, viewersare taken on an emotional journey raising awareness and an understanding ofCOVID-19 through the children’s eyes.
Allproceeds from the sale of paintings will be managed by the Hope Foundation fromVnExpress e-newspaper to support children with cancers, disabilities, or fromdisadvantaged backgrounds.
Theworks were previously exhibited at the National Museum of Fine Art in Hanoifrom November 18-22, attracting more than 1,000 visitors./.
