A photo exhibition on Vietnam before, during and after the wartime opened in Paris, France on October 2.

The event is to mark 40 years of the “Napalm girl” photo by Huynh Cong Ut, who is known as Nick Ut, a photographer for the Associated Press (AP).

With a major message of “Peace for the world”, besides the world famous photo of a naked 9-year-old girl, Kim Phuc, with her body severely burnt, running to flee her village in South Vietnam in flame during the US army’s bombing, about 100 photos are on display on the theme of war and peace in Vietnam, also by Nick Ut.-VNA
