More than 100 war documentary photos are on display at an exhibition which opened in the Tan Trao Special National Historical Relic site, the northern province of Tuyen Quang on October 18.
Exhibited photos highlight the resilient spirit of women soldiers, who joined Vietnam’s resistance wars against France and the US in the past.
As part of activities to mark the 8 rd anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20) and towards celebrating Vietnam Heritage Day, the event attracted a large number of visitors, local people and students.
It provides a good opportunity for audiences to understand more about the patriotic spirit and sacrifice for the nation Vietnamese women made, as well as their great contributions to the national liberation.
Running until the end of this year, the exhibition also aims to teach young Vietnamese people the national revolutionary tradition.-VNA
