All information about the hunt for the missing Malaysia Airline plane will be made available via the hotlines 0773846704 and 0773847508, a senior official said at a press briefing in the southern province of Kien Giang on March 14.

Vice Director General of the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation Doan Huu Gia further said that daily press conferences on the ongoing search will be halted from March 15 and the search will still be maintained.

Vietnam continued its hunt on March 14, with three AN 26 planes, one CASA aircraft and seven vessels, but no solid clues had been found yet.

Responding to testimony from Michael Jerome McKay - a worker for the Songar Mecur oil rig off the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau who claims to have seen the plane exploding - Gia said the Vietnamese units conducted a thorough search in the area mentioned but no suspect signs emerged.

He added that Vietnam is ready to join search efforts outside its territorial waters if requested./.
