PM Dung receives outgoing Danish Ambassador

PM Dung made the statement while receiving outgoing Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Peter Lysholt Hansen in Hanoi on July 6.

Dung praised the result of Danish Ambassador Hansen’s office term in Vietnam , saying that his efforts to promote high-ranking visits and mutual understanding and solidarity between the two peoples and assist the two countries’ coordination at international and multilateral forums have actively contributed to fostering the two countries’ friendship.

He took the occasion to thank the Danish Ambassador for his efforts to accelerate his Government’s assistance to Vietnam in coping with climate change and in trade, investment, education and training.

Vietnam will continue coordinating and assisting the Danish diplomatic agencies in boosting the two countries’ cooperative relations, affirmed the PM.

He said he hoped the Danish diplomat will continue contributing to fostering the two countries’ relationship.

Ambassador Hansen said he was happy to witness Vietnam ’s achievements in economics, particularly its hunger eradication and poverty reduction.

More and more Danish businesses have invested in Vietnam , said Hansen, expressing his thank to the Vietnamese Government and PM who have facilitated Danish investors’ activities in the country.

He vowed to exert his utmost to promote the friendship between the two Governments and peoples./.
