Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and a Vietnamese delegation will leave for Dovos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum on January 25, following the invitation of Forum President Klauds Schwab.
Also on this occasion, Dung will pay working visit to the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation in Geneva to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and these two organisations.
The main objective of the trip is to talk with world leaders about global issues in economics, politics, the environment and technology and sciences, and to meet and exchanges opinions with CEOs of large enterprises and economic groups.
This will be a good chance to promote the image of Vietnam as an active and responsible member in the international community, engaging deeply in international economic and political activities, particularly as Vietnam will host the World Economic Forum on East Asia this June./.
