Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung left Hanoi on September 2 for Nanning city of China’s Guangxi province to attend the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the 10 th China-ASEAN Business-Investment Summit (CABIS).

His attendance shows the Party and State’s appreciation of developing the friendship and comprehensive cooperation with China, helping reinforce mutual political trust between the two neighbours.

It also demonstrates Vietnam’s active participation in activities marking the 10 th anniversary of ASEAN-China strategic partnership as well as the country’s support for CAEXPO.

CAEXPO, held annually by China and ASEAN, is among China’s top ten trade expos, promising to be a reliable destination for not only businesses from China and ASEAN, but also those from other countries in the region.

This year’s event is of great significance as both China and ASEAN celebrate 10 years of their strategic partnership.

Around 3,400 stands have been erected to introduce achievements in investment cooperation, science and technology, trade and services.

More than 100 Vietnamese businesses from 17 provinces and cities will showcase their products and services at the event, themed “Regional Cooperation and Development: New Opportunities, New Impetus and New Stage.”
