PM pays New Year tribute to Uncle Ho

The ceremony as one of many activities carried out on the occasion of the traditional New Year (Tet) and the 84th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3).

The house, located within the President Ho Chi Minh relic site, is named No. 67 after the year in which it was constructed.

Expressing respect to President Ho Chi Minh, PM Dung recalled the leader’s great contributions to the success of national liberation and reunification.

While meeting the relic site’s staff, he lauded their efforts in preserving items related to the late leader and introducing his life and career to visitors from inside and outside the country.

He also told them to work harder to conserve the items for next generations while introducing President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career to more people nationwide and foreign visitors.

The President Ho Chi Minh relic site and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which are part of the Presidential Palace complex, welcome about 2.5 million visitors every year.-VNA
