PM sends condolences to China on air crash

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Aug. 25 sent a message of condolences to his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao over great losses in lives and property caused by the serious plane crash that occurred in Yichun city.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Aug. 25 sent a message of condolences to his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao over great losses in lives and property caused by the serious plane crash that occurred in Yichun city.

The crash killed at least 42 of 96 passengers while the plane was attempting to land at Lindu airport of Yichun city in northeast China ’s Heilongjiang province late on August 24.

Also on Aug. 25, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem sent a message of sympathy to Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang over the deaths of eight Hong Kong citizens, who were killed in a hostage crisis in the Philippines on Aug. 23./.
