smuggling case involving 265 heroin cakes and three people.
The traffickers were caught in the act travelling on National Highway 1 in Bac Ninh province. The heroin was stashed in their two cars.
A short interrogation revealed that the three suspects have made regular trips to Laos to buy the drug.
They transported the heroin from Moc Chau town in Son La province that borders Laos, before selling the contraband in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces.
The investigation continues.-VNA
