Politburo member and standing member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee Truong Tan Sang received Cai Wu, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Culture of China on Dec. 2 in Hanoi.

Sang affirmed that the visit would contribute to further strengthening cooperative ties between the two cultural ministries as well as the relationship between the two Parties and countries on the occasion of the 60 th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

He said that over the past 60 years, the friendly and traditional relations between the two countries have been developing strongly, especially in politics, economics, culture, science and technology, education, healthcare and security and defence.

He also added that the two Parties’ cooperation in theoretical work and human resources training was deepened, making important contributions to dealing with important issues in the process of building socialism.

Cai Wu affirmed that leaders of the Party, Government and Chinese people always valued the development of traditional relations with Vietnam, pledging to incessantly strengthen and develop the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with the Vietnamese Party, State and people.

On the occasion, he also briefed Sang on the outcomes of his working session with the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism./.
