Politburo member receives French party delegation
Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s
Secretariat, Le Hong Anh, received a delegation from the French
Communist Party (PCF) led by Jean Charles Nefgre, Coordinator of the
PCF’s Standing Committee, on February 18 in Hanoi.

During the reception, the host said the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) always attaches importance to strengthening friendship and cooperation with the PCF.
He expressed his hope that the friendship between the two parties will be further strengthened and developed in all fields, contributing to raising the fine ties between the two countries, which were elevated to a strategic partnership in September 2013.
For his part, Nefger spoke highly of the effective cooperation between the two countries and their peoples in recent time.
He briefed the host on the PCF’s operations as well as goals set by the party for 2014.
The two sides also discussed how to foster the traditional friendship and cooperation in the future.-VNA
