Central Highlands provinces are set to continue to build new houses for 46,000 poor households between now and 2015 under the guideline of the Central Highlands Steering Committee.
Regional provinces including Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Nong, and Lam Dong, have so far invested over 999.8 billion VND (47.6 million USD) in building 43,345 new houses for poor households.
Besides the State’s funding, the money was mobilised from organisations, businesses, and donors.
Dak Lak province is the locality having the biggest number of poor families enjoying the Government’s policy on house supporting.
The province has built more than 12,850 houses for the poor, reaching its target one year ahead of its schedule.-VNA
