Popularisation commission heads to Laos

The delegation paid a courtesy visit to Laos Vice State PresidentBounnhang Vorachith, who spoke highly of the effective cooperationbetween the Commission for Propaganda and Training (CPT) of the LaoPeople’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and the CPE invarious fields.

Vorachith, who is also a Politburomember and standing member of the LPRP Central Committee Secretariat,expressed his wish that the two sides will coordinate in disseminatingthe two countries’ achievements, especially their struggles for nationalindependence and the Vietnam-Laos special relations.

The two sides should strengthen cooperation and experience exchange in Party building work, he added.

For his part, Huynh affirmed that the CPE will enhance multifacetedcooperation with the CPT, helping to foster the special relationshipbetween the two nations.

Earlier, the Vietnamesedelegation held talks with the Head of the Laos Commission forPropaganda and Training, Chueang Sombounkhan, during which the two sidessigned a cooperative agreement for the 2011-2015 period.

Under the agreement, the two sides agreed to popularise importantpolitical events between the two countries, especially the Year ofVietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity 2012, helping to bring theVietnam-Laos traditional friendship, special solidarity andcomprehensive cooperation to a new height.

The CPE will assist the Lao commission in training personnel and building a website for its magazine./.

Turkey hails Vietnam’s growing international standing

Vietnam, China step up theoretical exchanges, share Party-building experience

During his working visit to China, Nguyen Xuan Thang, member of the 13th Party Central Committee's Political Bureau and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, had a meeting with Li Shulei, Politburo member, Secretary of the CPC Central Committee’s Secretariat, and Head of the CPC Central Committee’s Publicity Department, during which the two sides held in-depth discussions on theoretical research, practical reviews and Party building, and agreed to further strengthen cooperation and experience sharing between the two Parties.

Vietnam, Australia’s Northern Territory eye direct air route

A key proposal raised during the meetings was the early establishment of a direct air route linking Vietnam with Darwin. The route is expected to facilitate travel as well as trade, investment, education and tourism ties, while further promoting people-to-people exchanges.
