President meets Russian Duma chairman
President Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with Russian Duma chairman Vyacheslav Volodin on December 1 in Moscow.
President Phuc affirmed that Russia is always a top priority, reliable and traditional partner of Vietnam.
The Russian Duma chairman thanked the Vietnamese state leader for supporting cooperation between the legislatures of the two coutries.
President Phuc voiced his hope that the two sides would further promote the role of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Russian Duma in strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation in particular and the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia in general.
Chairman Volodin affirmed that the Russian State Duma wishes to promote ties with the legislative body Vietnam, contributing to deepening the Vietnam - Russia relations./.
