President welcomes newly-accredited ambassadors

President Truong Tan Sang on August 14 received the newly-appointedAmbassadors of the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Argentina whocame to present their credentials.

At the reception for theRoK’s Ambassador Jun Dae-joo, President Sang expressed belief that withexperience of his 18 years living in Vietnam, Jun will have manyinitiatives to further the strategic partnership between the twocountries.

The president voiced pleasure at the unceasinglydevelopment of the bilateral ties over the past years, adding that thetwo countries have been adopting numerous measures to further boost thecooperation in economy, trade and investment.

Ambassador JunDae-joo pledged to spare no effort to bolster the multifacetedcooperative relations between Vietnam and RoK during his term inVietnam.

While meeting with Argentinean Ambassador ClaudioRicardo Gutierrez, the State leader expressed his delight at thepositive development of the all-around ties between the two countries.

The visit to Vietnam of Argentinean President CristinaFernández Kirchner early this year will further boost the two countries’relation, bringing about practical benefits for the mutual developmentof Vietnam and Argentina, he added.

President Sangaffirmed that the Vietnamese Government will create every possiblecondition for Ambassador Gutierrez to best perform his mission inVietnam.

The Argentinean diplomat said his country considersVietnam a key partner in the region. He promised to do his utmost tofoster the relation between the two countries.-VNA
