the world market rose by 10 percent after the country won a contract to
supply the Philippines.

Five percent broken rice has increased in price from 500 USD per tonne to 530-550 USD, while 25 percent broken rice among the 600,000 tonnes, which will soon be exported to the Philippines, has been sold at 480 USD per tonne, representing an increase of four percent.
After its first invitation for bids, the Philippines will purchase 500,000-520,000 tonnes of rice, of which 300,000 tonnes will be supplied by Vietnam’s Southern Food Corporation while the remainder will be imported from Thailand./.
