Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on July 20 received Rolf Bergman, Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam, bidding farewell to his term in the country.

At the event, Dung spoke highly of the achievements the ambassador hasmade during his term in Vietnam, stressing that the Vietnamesegovernment and people always appreciate the support of Swedish people inthe struggle for national independence as well as the renewal andnational construction process.

He underlined thatVietnam always wishes to cooperate with Sweden in all fields for themutual benefits of both countries.

In response,Ambassador Bergman expressed his pleasure at the fine results ofcooperation between the two countries, especially in environment,judicial research, and technology and science. He said he believed thatmore and more cooperation programmes will contribute to the friendshiprelations between the two governments and people./.
