patients being treated at the Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi.
On the occasion, State President Nguyen Minh Triet sent a letter praising the Health Ministry’s initiative saying that it is a real help to poor patients.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Trieu said that the project was a charitable activity and an excellent model for other hospitals in the country to follow.
The project was built at a cost of over 4 billion VND (235,000 USD) and funded by Vingroup. It has eight large dormitories with a total of 300 bunk beds and shared toilets. Each bed costs 15,000 VND (0.8 USD) per night./.
